International Day of Cooperatives

Each year on the first Saturday of July, we honour the spirit of cooperation and teamwork. Cooperatives are organisations where people unite to achieve common goals, like fair working conditions and shared benefits. This special day was first observed in 1923, recognising the principles of unity, equality, and community. It's a chance for students to learn about cooperation's positive impact on communities and economies worldwide.
