This lesson is ideally taught after the lesson 'Welcome to Andrea's yard' which introduces Andrea's life and work. **Lyfta core themes:** Culture and Identity, Natural Environment. **Lyfta core skills and values**: Digital Literacy, Information Retrieval, Intercultural Competence, Research. **SDGs:** 11, 15. **National Curriculum objectives:** KS2 Geography to locate the world’s countries, using maps (South America) concentrating on their environmental regions, key physical and human characteristics, countries, and major cities to understand geographical similarities and differences through the study of human and physical geography of a region within South America to use maps, atlases, globes and digital/computer mapping to locate countries and describe features studied to use compass points to build knowledge of the wider world.
