What does the ocean sound like when we’re not drowning it out? In Searching for Silence, we travel to the lush, remote coastline of Colombia’s Gulf of Tribugá to meet Kerri Seger, a passionate marine scientist working at the frontline of an emerging environmental crisis: underwater noise pollution.

In this piece we consider sustainability and global citizenship, two separate but interlinked concepts in education. We explore definitions, recommendations and some of the innovative ways in which Lyfta and its storyworlds can support sustainability education in schools.

On October 4th 5th a whopping 291 school classes (approximately 8700 students) participated in our latest Lyfta live lesson which focused on the topic of biodiversity and tied in with two important awareness days, World Habitat Day and World Animal Day, as well as international Global Goals Week.
