**Important note: There is a short section in the film (05.44 - 06.33) where the teen girls have an adult-led activity discussing periods and menstrual products. Please watch before deciding if this is appropiate for your student age group. Teachers of younger students could move through this section if they prefer.** This assembly could be used together with **Assembly: Challenge stereotypes**. KS2 PSHE R32. to understand about respecting the differences and similarities between people and recognising what they have in common with others L9. to learn about stereotypes; how they can negatively influence behaviours and attitudes towards others; to learn strategies for challenging stereotypes. L27. about stereotypes in the workplace and that a person’s career aspirations should not be limited by them. KS3 PSHE L10. to recognise and challenge stereotypes and family or cultural expectations that may limit aspirations. KS2 Citizenship 4e. to recognise and challenge stereotypes 4f. to understand that differences and similarities between people arise from a number of factors, including cultural, ethnic, racial and religious diversity, gender and disability.
