This assembly is suitable for primaries or KS3, adapted. **Suggested preparation:** - You might want to have a few different kinds of bread to show learners, including flat bead/naan such as that shown in the storyworld- even nicer if you can heat it up to share the aroma! - If you would like to include reference to the Lord's Prayer ‘Give us this day our daily bread’, have the words ready for learners to see by adding in as an 'Information' task. - Suggested music for the assembly is 'Harvest for the World' - The Isley Brothers, or the more recent version by the Christians. KS2 Citizenship - to learn that there are different kinds of responsibilities, rights and duties at home, school and in the community - to think about the lives of people living in other places and times, and people with different values and customs - that differences and similarities between people arise from a number of factors, including cultural, ethnic, racial and religious diversity, gender and disability - that resources can be allocated in different ways and that these economic choices affect individuals, communities and the sustainability of the environment.
