This assembly is a good introduction to the entire Becoming Me storyworld series, which explores the lives of six different youngsters from Denmark. It is suitable for KS2/3. The focus of this assembly is Asmir’s storyworld, Wealth of Choices. As well as exploring Asmir's faith, we discover other aspects of his identity, such as the things he likes to do. This helps us reflect on our own identities, whether they are framed within a particular religion or worldview, or not. In this assembly, Asmir shares his Muslim faith with us: we observe how his family practise Sunni Islam, the largest denomination of Islam, practised by most of the world’s Muslims. We'll see him meditating alone and praying with his family. We'll also discover how he learns to read the Quran online with an Imam in Pakistan. As for every Lyfta storyworld individual, this isn't intended to present any **one** way of practising one's faith and is therefore not necessarily representative of either faith or country.
