This assembly is suitable for KS2/3+ and introduces Carlos Humberto in Campur, Guatemala and the theme of how a community pulls together after hurricanes devastate their community. Students are asked to identify ways Carlos and his village acted with resilience and to think about how proactive he was, using his drone and social media to get help, and the resources at hand to rescue people. **Suggestion for music:** As students enter or leave assembly, you may like to share some music from Guatemala. The most popular instrument in Guatemala is the marimba, a large wooden xylophone that's struck with mallets. It is usually upbeat, but you may like to share quieter music, given the nature of the film we will share.
