Pupils will meet marine biologist Paula, researching ocean birds off the coast of Galicia, northern Spain, and discover how the ocean is critical to all life on Earth. **National Curriculum Objectives:** KS2 Geography - understand geographical similarities and differences through the study of the physical geography of a region in a European country - use maps, atlases, globes and digital mapping to locate places, including the 5 ocean basins - use basic geographical vocabulary: cliff, coast, hill, sea, ocean, soil, vegetation, weather, island. KS2 English Reading comprehension - Information retrieval - Reading for meaning (non-fiction) identifying main ideas and summarising these.
