Become ‘ocean-wise’ (KS3)

Students will meet marine biologist Paula, researching ocean bird populations off the coast of Galicia, northern Spain, and discover how the ocean is critical to all life on Earth. KS3 Geography - extend locational knowledge and deepen spatial awareness of the world’s environmental regions: oceans - Develop understanding of weather and climate, hydrology and coasts; and understand how human and physical processes interact to influence, and change landscapes, environments and the climate; and how human activity relies on effective functioning of natural systems.  entire species, less well adapted to compete successfully and reproduce, which in turn may lead to extinction how organisms affect, and are affected by, their environment, including the accumulation of toxic materials.
