This lesson is suitable for a KS3 or KS4 classroom and adaptable for a KS5 context. It could be used in PSHE or geography; or used in a politics or citizenship class. We meet midwife Ximena, delivering babies in a makeshift camp on the Mexican border with the southern US. Delete the task for KS3/4 as appropriate for your class. **Please note: the film has a BBFC rating of 12. A woman talks about her experience of fleeing domestic abuse.** This lesson would be appropriate to teach alongside the lesson 'Why are there refugees?' in Adhanom's storyworld in Sweden.
