Climate change & extreme weather: Pt 2

This is the second part of two lessons for KS4. If you haven't already done so, you may wish students to access Climate change and extreme weather: Part 1. This lesson can be taught in geography, English or in a cross-curricular fashion. In this lesson, students will conduct some independent research into the ways in which more economically developed countries (MEDCs) produce the greatest carbon emissions and explore the ways in which the poorest countries are often left vulnerable to climate change's catastrophic effects. Students will demonstrate their learning by producing a leaflet which informs their readers and persuades them to do more to tackle climate change to protect others elsewhere in the world. **Lyfta core themes:** Community and Citizenship.
