This short lesson will help you develop a deeper understanding of the nature of Lyfta's documentary films and how they are created for our audiences. It can be used individually but would be a very powerful short CPD session for a team or whole staff when starting out or developing your teaching with Lyfta. The lesson/session will cover: - Accuracy, bias and representation - Filmmaking style, and - The commissioning process. The lesson will invite you to use two films as a way in: Spark of Creativity and The Young Storyteller. You could adapt this lesson for a young adult/ upper secondary media studies or English lesson context if helpful.
