This lesson is suitable for KS1 to lower KS2 and as all lessons, is adaptable. We will explore scenes, watch short 360 films, but not the full documentary in this lesson. It can enhance your learners' spiritual, moral, social and cultural (SMSC) development. If appropriate, you might like to use josticks in your classroom to enable learners to experience this, like in Ahen's temples. **This lesson is best taught from the front of class.** **Lyfta Core Skills and Values:** Intercultural Competence, Mindfulness, Respect. **Lyfta Core themes:** Community and Citizenship, Culture and Identity, Health and Wellbeing. **SDGs:** 3. **National Curriculum Objectives:** KS1/2 RE - There are opportunities in this lesson to explore spirituality which is a broad addition to your locally agreed RE provision. KS1 PSHE L6. to recognise the ways they are the same as, and different to, other people. KS1 English Speaking: - ask relevant questions to extend their understanding and knowledge use relevant strategies to build their vocabulary - use spoken language to develop understanding through speculating, hypothesising, imagining and exploring ideas Writing: Consider what they are going to write before beginning by: - planning or saying out loud what they are going to write about, - writing down ideas and/or key words, including new vocabulary, - encapsulating what they want to say, sentence by sentence.
