KS3 Geography - extend locational knowledge and deepen spatial awareness of the world’s countries using maps of the world to focus on Asia, focusing on their environmental regions, key physical and human characteristics - understand geographical similarities, differences and links between places through the study of human and physical geography of a region within Asia - human geography relating to: population and urbanisation; international development; and the use of natural resources - understand how human and physical processes interact to influence, and change landscapes, environments and the climate - further develop digital fieldwork to locate countries and describe features studied. KS4 Geography - develop and extend knowledge of locations, places, environments and processes - gain understanding of interactions between people and environments, change in places and processes over space and time, and interrelationship between geographical phenomena at different scales/ contexts - develop and extend competence in a range of skills including digital sources/fieldwork - apply geographical knowledge, understanding, skills and approaches appropriately and creatively to real world contexts. and to contemporary situations and issues; and develop well-evidenced arguments drawing on their geographical knowledge and understanding. KS2 Science - recognise that environments can change and that this can sometimes pose dangers to living things - explore examples of human impact (both positive and negative) on environments, e.g. sanctuaries for protection; and the negative effects of population and development, poaching and deforestation. KS3 Science: Biology - the interdependence of organisms in an ecosystem, including food webs - how organisms affect, and are affected by, their environment.
