This lesson is suitable for KS1 - KS2 or for those with additional needs that would enjoy and benefit from an immersive, multi-sensory lesson exploring habitats, people and places. Several activities include 360 experiences. As with all lesson plans, you can adapt, remove or add sections to this lesson depending upon the needs of your students. **You'll need some equipment for the final activity if you choose to make a forest soundscape, e.g. percussion instruments.** **Lyfta core themes:** Community and Citizenship, Culture and Identity, Equality and Human Rights, Natural Environment, Professions and Entrepreneurship. **Lyfta core skills and values**: Active Listening, Collaboration & Teamwork, Communication, Creativity & Innovation, Environment & Sustainability, Intercultural Competence, Mindfulness, Organisation & Planning, Positive Attitude, Professionalism Research, Resilience & Perseverance, Taking Initiative, Time Management, Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving, Work Ethic. **SDGs:** 5, 11, 15. **National Curriculum objectives:** KS1 Science identify that most living things live in habitats to which they are suited and describe how different habitats provide for the basic needs of different kinds of animals and plants, and how they depend on each other identify and name a variety of plants and animals in their habitats, e.g. eagles. KS2 Science recognise that environments can change and that this can sometimes pose dangers to living things explore examples of human impact (both positive and negative) on environments, e.g. sanctuaries for protection; and the negative effects of development, e.g. deforestation. KS1 Geography understand geographical similarities and differences through studying the human and physical geography of a small area in a contrasting non-European country use basic geographical vocabulary to refer to key physical features, e.g. forest, mountain, village. KS2 Geography Develop digital fieldwork using digital/computer mapping to locate countries and describe features studied. KS1 - KS2 Music to play tuned and untuned instruments musically to experiment with, create and combine sounds using the interrelated dimensions of music to improvise and compose music for a range of purposes.
