This lesson explores aspects of Greek Orthodox faith and tradition and is suitable for KS4 RE students but can also be used in a KS3 context. The Last Child of Arki is a storyworld with 4 films exploring Kristos’ life on the Greek island of Arki. In this lesson we visit 2 of the films: 'Kristos' and ‘The Family’. **Lyfta Core themes:** Community and Citizenship, Culture and Identity. **Lyfta Core Skills and Values** Critical thinking, Intercultural competence. **SDGs:** 4. **National Curriculum Objectives:** KS4 RE All exam boards reference the need to consider significant common and divergent views about your chosen religions’ practice when studying beliefs and teachings. The structure of church services and specifically Greek Orthodox services are mentioned on exam boards as an exploration of different practices within Christianity.
