Hopes and dreams: Part 1

This lesson is the first of two lessons exploring 13 year old Cansu's hopes and dreams. It is most suitable for learners in upper KS2 and above. Secondary teachers might like to amend/split the lesson into parts if teaching shorter sessions. **Lyfta core themes:** Community and Citizenship, Culture and Identity, Equality and Human Rights, Health and Wellbeing, Learning and Growth, Professions and Entrepreneurship, Relationships. **Lyfta core skills and values**: Coaching and Mentoring, Communication, Courage and Self Confidence, Growth Mindset, Healthy Living, Human Rights, Lifelong Learning, Resilience and Perseverance, Work Ethic. **SDGs:** 3, 4, 11. **National Curriculum objectives:** KS2 Citizenship to recognise and challenge stereotypes that differences and similarities between people arise from a number of factors, including cultural, ethnic, racial and religious diversity, gender and disability.
