This lessons is suitable for KS3 and above and while the focus is on science, you could expand it to explore Kerri's career (childhood through developing skills to present) in much more detail. **National Curriculum objectives:** KS3 Science To learn about: - frequencies of sound waves, measured in hertz (Hz); echoes, reflection and absorption of sound, - that sound needs a medium to travel, the speed of sound in air, in water, in solids - that sound is produced by vibrations of objects - about the auditory range of humans and animals. KS3 Maths Numeracy problem solving using real-life data. KS3 + KS4 English skills: Information retrieval, identifying main ideas and summarising these (non-fiction);read a range of texts critically, for meaning. KS3 PSHE About transferrable skills in Kerri's work. L4. about the range of opportunities available to them for careers L12. about different work roles and career pathways, including clarifying their own early aspirations.
