Let's explore the fascinating world of Dinnertime 360!

🚦**Please note that while this lesson does not contain the film 'My Daughter and I' in Mohammed's storyworld, pupils will still be able to access it if they explore all the materials or given independent access. A note that the film sensitively approaches bereavement.** This lesson is suitable for children from Reception upwards. For the Early Years/ KS1, you could focus on the first activity as part of a 'My Family' topic, looking at family homes/ meals across the world and comparing to their own. **Lyfta core themes:** Culture and identity, Health and wellbeing **Lyfta core skills and values**: Healthy Living, Intercultural competence, Lifelong learning, Practical life skills. **SDGs**: 3 and 5 **National Curriculum Objectives:** ELG: People, Culture and Communities to explain some similarities and differences between life in this country and life in other countries. PSHE (KS1) H1. about what keeping healthy means; different ways to keep healthy, H2. about foods that support good health and the risks of eating too much sugar, R23. to recognise the ways in which they are the same and different to others PSHE (KS2): H6. about what constitutes a healthy diet; how to plan healthy meals; benefits to health and wellbeing of eating nutritionally rich foods; risks associated with not eating a healthy diet including obesity and tooth decay R32. about respecting the differences and similarities between people and recognising what they have in common with others e.g. physically, in personality or background. KS2 Citizenship: 4b. to think about the lives of people living in other places and times, and people with different values and customs.
