Loss, bereavement and change
We'll meet a bereaved husband and daughter in Finland and a cemetery caretaker in Pakistan. We'll look at how loss, bereavement and change affects different people.
Teacher notes
Our recommendation is to teach this as a 45 minute lesson (KS3/4) or you could break it into 2x 20/25 minute lessons as suits your class. It is adaptable for a KS2 context. **Please note:** Leah's storyworld in the Becoming Me series (Denmark) also approaches loss through the eyes of a 12-year-old and her family.
