Lyfta Time #02: Michal in Helsinki
Meet Michal from Prague in the Czech Republic, who now works at the Finnish National Ballet in Helsinki.
Teacher notes
This mini-lesson can be delivered either from the front of the classroom using a central computer and screen, or for students who have access to their own computers or devices. This lesson introduces Michal, a ballet dancer who wanted to be an ice hockey player as a child. You could use it to explore themes such as: stereotypes and gender expectations, dance, excellence and daring to be different. Like ALL Lyfta storyworlds, these characters are unique.
