Lyfta Time #12: Asmir in Denmark

This mini-lesson can be delivered either from the front of the classroom using a central computer and screen, or for students who have access to their own computers or devices. This lesson introduces Asmir, a young Muslim boy growing up in Denmark. You could use it to explore themes such as: belonging, inclusion, faith, religion and worldviews. **Please note:** If this is your first Lyfta lesson, please see these specially designed introductory lesson plans first, which introduce the Quest Tracker and how Lyfta works: Option 1: '#1 Lyfta Time: Rob in Cornwall' is a 20 minute introduction exploring one storyworld Option 2: ‘How to use Lyfta’ is a 45 minute lesson exploring multiple storyworlds. **Follow-up lessons:** This lesson plan explores Part One of the two-part film, 'Who Am I?' **We recommend that you show your learners Part 2 of the film as an extension activity if at all possible, so they can see how Asmir gets on performing in the school play, and to what extent he can answer the question: who am I?** The film is 7.5 mins long.
