This lesson introduces Romy, a young girl who travels with her family to France every summer as a circus performer. It is part of 'The Circus Family' Storyworld series. We explore Romy's storyworld 'The Circus Family', along with themes such as: culture and identity, community, resilience and coping with change. **If possible, show Part 2 of the film when convenient, so learners can see the film's ending.** This mini-lesson can be delivered either from the front of the classroom using a central computer and screen, or for students who have access to their own computers or devices. Like ALL Lyfta storyworlds, these characters are unique.
