This lesson introduces Simon, who practices ‘Kihamba’ farming in Tanzania, a method of working with nature to grow food. You could use it to explore themes such as: natural ways to grow food, protecting the environment, and the importance of Mount Kilimanjaro for Simon and his community. This mini-lesson can be delivered either from the front of the classroom using a central computer and screen, or for students who have access to their own computers or devices. Like ALL Lyfta storyworlds, these characters are unique.
