This lesson introduces Pedro, a volcanologist working on the active volcano Cumbra Vieja in La Palma, an island in the Canary Islands, Spain. Discover how he and his colleagues study volcanoes and work hard to keep people safe and advance our knowledge. We explore Pedro's storyworld 'We Live Among Volcanoes'. This mini-lesson can be delivered either from the front of the classroom using a central computer and screen, or for students who have access to their own computers or devices. Like ALL Lyfta storyworlds, these characters are unique.
