Lyfta Time #54: Melkiye in Ethiopia

In this Lyfta Time, students will meet Melkiye and visit the assembly hall in Awra Amba where decisions are made collectively and democratically. You could use it to explore themes such as: democracy, equality, gender equality and decision making. This mini-lesson can be delivered either from the front of the classroom using a central computer and screen, or for students who have access to their own computers or devices. Like ALL Lyfta storyworlds, these characters are unique.
