Lyfta Time #55: Adhanom in Sweden (Secondary)

🚦This Lyfta Time uses the second film in Adhanom's story. Please note that the film is a PG cert. Please be aware that the first film 'Don't Give Up: Part One' (in the storyworld, but not used in this Lyfta Time) is not suitable for younger children as it contains upsetting references to Adhanom's perilous sea journey. In this Lyfta Time, students will meet Adhanom and learn how he is rebuilding his life in Sweden. You could use it to explore themes such as: home, family and caring, and life as a refugee who is settling in a new place. This mini-lesson can be delivered either from the front of the classroom using a central computer and screen, or for students who have access to their own computers or devices. Like ALL Lyfta storyworlds, these characters are unique.
