Lyfta Time #62: Jasmin in Somaliland

This lesson introduces Jasmin aged 12, who moves to Somaliland from Finland with her family. It can be used to explore the themes of new beginnings, embracing two or more cultures, family and belonging. **Please note that the film is 13 mins long. You may therefore wish to split the short session into two, especially for younger learners.** This mini-lesson can be delivered either from the front of the classroom using a central computer and screen, or for students who have access to their own computers or devices. Like ALL Lyfta storyworlds, these characters are unique.
