Lyfta Time #64: Shahnaz in Iran

This lesson introduces 15-year-old Shahnaz who lives in a mountainous region in Iran. Shahnaz and her family are Bakhtiari nomadic people, travelling over the mountains from their summer camp to their winter village of Sar Agha Seyed every year. We recommend that you follow this lesson with Lyfta Time #65: Eshmaeil in Iran, which focuses on Eshmaeil, Shahnaz's teacher, and his experience of teaching children in the winter village. This mini-lesson can be delivered either from the front of the classroom using a central computer and screen, or for students who have access to their own computers or devices.
