Lyfta Time #66: Asalif in Ethiopia
In this short Lyfta Time session we will meet Asalif, who lives on the outskirts of the capital city of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa.

This lesson introduces Asalif, who lives in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It is part of the Ethiopian Treasures storyworld. It is most suitable for KS2-3. You could use this lesson to explore themes such as: resourcefulness, creativity, resilience and perseverance. The focus on reusing and repurposing rubbish could be linked to the lesson 'Lyfta Time #1: Rob in Cornwall.' This mini-lesson can be delivered either from the front of the classroom using a central computer and screen, or for students who have access to their own computers or devices. Like ALL Lyfta storyworlds, these characters are unique.
