In this Lyfta Time, students will meet Mackie and her family celebrating Hanukkah in LA with traditional Jewish food and a Chinese take away! You could use it to explore themes such as: diversity, communities supporting one another, Hanukkah, family and food traditions. This mini-lesson can be delivered either from the front of the classroom using a central computer and screen, or for students who have access to their own computers or devices. Like ALL Lyfta storyworlds, these characters are unique.
