Make a marine themed mobile

This lesson will probably need additional time to work on the crafting activity. It is suitable for Year 2 and above, with support. **Recycled mobile decoration activity:** Decide whether you want learners to create simple mobiles by themselves or as part of a group, adding several decorative elements. You will need: - A selection of recycled materials for 3D creatures, and/or card - Old coat hangers- metals ones can be easily bent into shape, and painted if required - Thread or string - Scissors - Glue - Paint or pens for decoration. **Please avoid glitter, which is made of microplastic and contributes to microplastic pollution, that finds its way into the ocean, posing a danger to people and animals.** For more on this, see the lesson plan ‘Ocean Plastic’.
