Middle Eastern cuisine

In this lesson you will find out what Muhammed and his daughter are having for dinner, and learn how to make some delicious Middle Eastern dishes.

KS2 PSHE H6. to think about what constitutes a healthy diet to learn how to plan healthy meals to learn the benefits to health and wellbeing of eating nutritionally rich foods to learn about risks associated with not eating a healthy diet including obesity and tooth decay. KS2 English to write a menu, using further organisational and presentational devices to structure text and to guide the reader [for example, headings, bullet points, underlining]. KS2 DT to understand and apply the principles of a healthy and varied diet to prepare and cook a variety of predominantly savoury dishes using a range of cooking techniques.
