This lesson is most suitable for KS2 - 3 and follows on from 'People who inspire us: Part 1'. In the main activity learners research a role model of their choice and present their findings. KS2 English - retrieve, record and present information from non-fiction - identifying the audience for and purpose of the writing, selecting the appropriate form and using other similar writing as models for their own (writing a biography). KS3 English - writing for a wide range of purposes and audiences, including: notes and polished scripts for talks and presentations and a range of other narrative and non-narrative texts.
