This lesson would be a good follow up to the lesson 'Phone box rescuer'. PSHE (KS2): - how everyday choices can affect the environment. KS2 English Reading comprehension - Read texts structured in different ways and for a range of purposes - Understand what they read, by checking that the text makes sense to them, discussing their understanding, and explaining the meaning of words in context - identifying main ideas and summarising these - retrieve and record information from non-fiction. Writing composition: - draft and write for different purposes - compose and rehearse sentences orally - retrieve, record and present information from non-fiction.
