**Teach Part 1 first.** This is the fourth session in the 'Courage and Resilience' unit of the Year of Values (Primary) course - please ensure lesson 3 (Part I from this storyworld) is taught first. This powerful story follows Tamara, a young woman from Amsterdam who experienced a brain injury that left her unable to speak. Despite this life-changing challenge, Tamara shows extraordinary resilience and finds a path to recovery through singing therapy. The story highlights her emotional journey, determination, and strength of spirit as she reclaims her voice. **Themes**: Courage in the face of unexpected challenges Resilience and perseverance in recovery Communication and self-expression Disability awareness and inclusive cities **Values Focus** This story deepens students’ understanding of courage as something that grows in tough times, and resilience as a strength we use to keep going and find new ways forward. Guidance: This session can be delivered from the front of the class or on student devices (if available). Suggested introduction for each session in Year of Values: Each week, we explore a powerful human story from a different part of the world, using real-life voices and experiences to help us better understand the values that shape our lives. **Lesson objectives:** Students will: - Reflect on what respect and inclusion look like in action - Explore the power of small acts of kindness and visibility - Make connections between personal values and everyday choices - Begin to define what respect means in their own lives.
