You might like to ask pupils to write cards or postcards in the final activity after planning in their books/ or online. KS3 PSHE H5. the characteristics of mental and emotional health; to develop empathy and understanding about how daily actions can affect people’s mental health H6. about change and its impact on mental health and wellbeing and to recognise the need for emotional support during life changes and/or difficult experiences H7. a broad range of strategies — cognitive and practical — for promoting their own emotional wellbeing, for avoiding negative thinking and for ways of managing mental health concerns. KS2 Citizenship - to care about other people's feelings and to try to see things from their points of view. KS2/KS3 English - Read texts structured in different ways and for a range of purposes drawing inferences such as inferring characters’ feelings, thoughts and motives from their actions, and justifying inferences with evidence - retrieve and record information from non-fiction - infer and draw conclusions from the film - write for a range of purposes.
