**This lesson should be taught from the front of the class in a primary context.** You could use this lesson in any year group if you can read and share the article about superheroes together. 🚦** While we do not view the film in this lesson, please note the film Spiderman of Sudan includes scenes of civil unrest and is a PG certificate. Students will be able to access the film if they are given independent access to this lesson** You will be directed to only explore the scenes and open a superheroes article. **Lyfta Core themes:** Relationships. **Lyfta Core Skills and Values** Creativity & Innovation, Design Thinking. **National Curriculum Objectives:** KS1 PSHE R1. about the roles different people (e.g. acquaintances, friends and relatives) play in our lives R2. to identify the people who love and care for them and what they do to help them feel cared for KS2 PSHE R1. to recognise that there are different types of relationships R8. to recognise other shared characteristics of healthy family life, including commitment, care, spending time together; being there for each other in times of difficulty. Can also include aspects of KS1/2 Art and Design and English if they: - design own character - label and write description of character.
