Writing to advise: Part one
This is the first of two lessons on writing to advise. Today, you'll meet Anni and Michal and use their stories as inspiration for your writing.

In this first of two lessons on writing to advise, students will meet Anni, a weightlifter and diver, from Finalnd and Michal, a ballet dancer who performs at the Finnish National Opera and Ballet. Students will consider the ways in which both Anni and Michal have defied gender expectations and have worked hard to achieve amazing things in their sports.
