About this collection
Aspiration and Gratitude is the sixth and final unit in Lyfta’s Year of Values course for primary students. Across six lessons, students encounter real human stories from around the world. Through immersive films and storyworlds, students are encouraged to reflect on what aspiration and gratitude mean in different contexts, and how these values shape their own communities and lives. The unit invites students to question, discuss, and explore aspiration and gratitude in practice. It builds understanding of diversity, human rights, and shared humanity, while fostering empathy, dialogue, and critical thinking. See Year of Values teacher toolkit for further information.
