💜 Courage and Resilience (Year of Values 3/6 Sec)

About this collection

'Courage and resilience' is the third unit in Lyfta’s Year of Values course for secondary students. Across six lessons, students encounter real human stories from around the world. Through immersive films and storyworlds, students are encouraged to reflect critically and relationally on what courage and resilience mean in different contexts, and how these values shape their own communities and lives. Rather than memorising fixed definitions, the module invites students to question, discuss, and explore the complexity of courage and resilience in practice. It builds understanding of diversity, human rights, and shared humanity, while fostering empathy, dialogue, and critical thinking.
