Respect and Inclusion is the first unit in Lyfta's Year of Values course, a year-long values education programme. Across six lessons, students encounter powerful human stories from around the world: from a London train station to a young dancer in Azerbaijan, and beyond. Through immersive films and guided discussions, pupils explore what it means to treat others with dignity, to value difference, and to stand up for those who are excluded. Designed for whole-class sessions or assemblies, each lesson blends story, reflection, and dialogue to build empathy, self-awareness, and relational skills. As part of the wider Year of Values course, this module lays the foundation for future explorations of compassion, resilience, responsibility, and more - helping schools nurture confident, connected, and caring young people.
