About this collection

Perseverance and Growth is the fourth unit in Lyfta’s Year of Values course for secondary students. Across six lessons, students encounter real human stories from around the world. Through immersive films and storyworlds, students are encouraged to reflect critically and relationally on what perseverance and growth mean in different contexts, and how these values shape their own communities and lives. Rather than memorising fixed definitions, the unit invites students to question, discuss, and explore the complexity of perseverance and growth in practice. It builds understanding of diversity, human rights, and shared humanity, while fostering empathy, dialogue, and critical thinking.
